Jewel of the Seas’ guests have a lot of dining options. Passengers who prefer fine dining soothed by the sound of waterfalls can indulge themselves with five remarkable courses at the Cascades Dining Room, the elegant main restaurant of the Jewel of the Seas. Portofino is the ship’s Italian restaurant that offers an intimate ambiance and authentic Italian cuisine while the Continental style Chops Grill is the place to go for the most succulent steaks. For casual dining, Seaview Café serves wonderful dishes buffet style while taking pleasure in the magnificent ocean view.
Jewel of the Seas has more than a dozen bars and lounges that offer a “drink of the day” and there is a lounge on each public deck except on cabins-only decks. The Champagne Bar on Deck 6 has an expansive glass window that provides an expansive ocean view while passengers sip their before-dinner drink. For guests with happy dancing feet, the Safari Club and Vortex disco have nice dance floors for them to jiggle around.
